PRESIDENTIAL UNSEALING & REPORTING SYSTEM FOR UAP ENCOUNTERS
The United States Government has released its first official collection of
UFO, UAP, and Alien files.
146 declassified documents from the FBI, Department of War, Department of State, and NASA — spanning 77 years of investigation.
"Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant departments and agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs)..."
— DONALD J. TRUMP, TRUTH SOCIAL [02.19.26]
146 files across 4 agencies — the first official US Government disclosure of UFO, UAP, and Alien investigation records
Classic UFO designations — pre-UAP terminology used primarily in FBI and early DOS files. These represent sightings where the object was described as a physical craft with defined shape.
Modern military/government designation for unidentified aerial phenomena. Used predominantly in DOW and recent NASA files. Broader category including objects, lights, and atmospheric anomalies.
Files where witnesses, analysts, or officials explicitly used the term 'extraterrestrial' or stated belief in non-Earth origin. The Kazakhstan cable is the most explicit example.
Files referencing the possibility of non-human intelligence originating from Earth itself — whether from underground, undersea, or from a parallel dimension. A minority but notable category in the FBI files.
Files officially designated as 'unresolved' — the government explicitly acknowledges these cannot be explained by known phenomena, aircraft, or natural events.
